Mythical Crystals Missions in Dizzywood
The popular game Dizzywood is a great web site for kids. One of the most fun parts of the game are the missions, which are simple tasks that kids can do to earn coins and badges. A lot of the missions are simple tasks but others are performed together with plot lines. One of the larger story lines is the Mythical Crystals group which provides several missions to do in Dizzywood. These missions are all Gold Explorer missions, which means that only paid members in Dizzywood can do them. Here is a detailed guide on how to do all of the Mythical Crystals missions that have been released so far.
Background
The story is that evil is in the works. Emperor Withering stole the 7 Mythical Crystals. Before he could get away completely with the crystals, Kan the Geomancer was able to cast a spell that shattered the crystals and scattered them around the land. Dizzywood explorers are being asked to help Kan to recover and reassemble the crystals before Emporer Withering can.
First Mission: Water Crystal
The first crystal to find is the important Water Crystal. The shards can be found next to its source of power: water. There are four pieces of the crystal to discover and they are hidden in Breakwater Beach, Wildwood Glen, Gilbert Square East and Tanglevine Jungle. When you find all four pieces, the water crystal is re-formed and you are rewarded with 300 coins.
Second Mission: Sky Crystal
The next mythical crystal is the Sky Crystal, which fell out of Emperor Withering’s zepplin and first landed in Skytown. Kan the Geomancer heard from the Cloud Sprite that the crystal bounced into Presto’s Edge, but players will need to use the ghost ray power to reveal it. Then it must be delivered to the Cloud Sprite who will keep it safe.
The crystal is hidden on the ground behind a wood pile in Presto’s Edge. It is over near the sign to Wildwood Glen. You have to use your ghost ray power to locate it by casting ghost ray on the pile of wood. The crystal will appear in that spot. Then take the crystal to the Cloud Sprite in Skytown to finish the mission and get 300 coins for a reward.
Third Mission: Swamp Crystal
The third mythical crystal is the Swamp Crystal, which can be found in areas covered with plants. One of Withering’s henchmen, Grool Grubnibbler, took this crystal and then gave it to a noxious swamp plant. Go to Canal City Road to battle the crystal out of the plant. Next, take it to the Pathfinder Official in Gilbert Square East. He is in the lower right section of the area.
Fourth Mission: Gloom Crystal
The fourth mythical crystal is the Gloom Crystal. The gloom crystal is a mysterious crystal which must not be handled without drinking a protective potion first. When you find the Wind Bogie, who is next to Kan in the Explorer’s Camp, he will help you create the correct potion you need to keep you from harm. Then you will find the doom crystal inside the Jaguar Temple on the middle platform. First you have to levitate over to get it.
Fifth Mission: Lava Crystal
The next mythical crystal is the Lava Crystal. Lava crystals can be extracted from a lava rock. Though lava rocks are rare, you might be able to find one on the edge of Tanglevine Jungle near the Mt. Kaklakala volcano. To get the crystal, go to the right side of Tanglevine Jungle. There you see one and then need to play a game of Flash cards to complete the mission.
