The Warlock class is great to play. This class belongs to the dark side and therefore their spells are based on the shadow magic and fire magic. They possess the powers of ‘the dark’ and therefore they are interested in demonology. With demonology they can summon powerful demons, for example imps, fel hounds, succubus, infernals and void walkers. With this ability, Warlocks, similar to hunters, are able to have a pet at their side most of the times.
To have a pet near you will make the game easier and will help you avoid damage most of the times. The Warlock class deals great damage with a few of the most popular offensive spells like, for example, shadow bolt. However, spells that made Warlocks famous are definitely spells that cause “fear” in other targets making them flee. Because of this spell combo, a Warlock who plays his class well is a dangerous opponent in PvP and is a top damage dealer in any PvE instance or raid group. In PvP a Warlock can fear his opponents while applying dots on his target an in PvE he can spam Shadow Bolts and other great spells.
The Warlock has a large variety of spells and skills. One of the most frequently used skills is to summon a Dark Portal. The Warlock can summon a Dark Portal which can then be used to summon other players from anywhere on the world to the Dark Portal. However, in order for this spell to work, a Warlock will need help from a few other players in his group. This Dark Portal can be used similar like you would use the meeting stone in front of an instance.
A Warlock can also apply a Soul Stone on himself or others. If a player is Soul Stoned he can resurrect on the spot upon death. This is very useful in raids and also can reduce the time of CR – corps running, even though its cooldown is 30 minutes. While leveling it is great because the Warlock can keep it on himself all the time and if he is in a party the Soul Stone can be cast on a player that can resurrect others. This class is also famous for their Health Stones (HS), which have a purpose to instantly give back a certain amount of health to any player in its possession, similar to a healing potion. At the beginning, a Warlock can give the Health Stones to other players separately and on the higher levels he will be able to create a Soul Well where all the members of his raid or group can click to obtain one Health Stone. In a fight that is longer, Health Stones come in as really handy since they don’t share the same cooldown as the health potions.
The class of Warlocks is great to level up and play. With their damage dealing abilities, demon pets, fears, DoTs and spells which are helpful to the group, they are surely complex characters to play and tuff enemies to fight against. If you like to play with casting classes and want an easy time leveling up, the Warlock class is a great one to chose!
