The World of Warcraft has a huge following and so many people are enjoying playing this game on a daily basis. And with so many opportunities to dress up and celebrate the Halloween season in costume, World of Warcraft do not have to be something they are not. They can actual look like World of Warcraft Action Figures by wearing similar vests. And with an estimated 8 million fans, there is most definitely a need for these World of Warcraft Halloween Costumes.
So what kind of character would you expect to see on a World of Warcraft fan? Well, there are different races in the World of Warcraft, or WOW, game: Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Draenei, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead and Blood Elves and new awesome WoW Action Figures in action. Each of the races have racial traits that are used, along with classes, to get to the next level. The classes help determine what spells and skills you can master to move on to another level. Playing WoW is so exciting and pleasurable that you will want to collect all the unique Action figures related with your characters. As a spell caster Mage are fantastic. Their ability to use fire, frost and the arcane forces is unrivaled in Warcraft. Yes, Mages are strong with magic but they lack stength in combat. Mages are not well armored or weaponized, in fact they only wear cloth and weild wands, daggers, swords, and staves. However, they do have a ton of spells that can allow the Mage to kill their enemy without getting to close to them. Mages can use magic to help their allies by creating food and drink for them and they can also travel to other locations instantly through portals. Humans, Gnomes, Undead, Trolls, Draenei, and Blood Elves are the only races that can play as Mages. In following part of the WoW Mage guide I’ll tell you about some of their strengths and weaknesses.
One of the major strengths of Mages is that they can use spells to inflict major damage to single and even multiple targets. But, if it’s a losing battle, Mages have two more tricks up their sleeve. First, they can hold back groups of enemies with spell, and then escape using spells such as the Frost Nova, Blink or Ice Armor spells.
As mentioned before, they are fantastic at launching attacks from long distances and avoid taking damage themselves. They can travel to other places in the world using portal and transport other players also.
Mage Weaknesses:
The Mages lack of armor is the source of one major weakness of this class, making it difficult for them to survive much damage. They are not very good for melee at all so don’t choose the Mage class if you want to melee. Last but not least, for all their magical strengths they don’t have any real healing ability.
Cool Mage Spells:
As a conclusion to the WoW Mage guide I’ll mention some cool spells. Some of which can make up somewhat for the weaknesses I mentioned earlier.
Mirror Image- This spell makes multiple versions of you appear that can then be used in battle.
Invisibility- Allows you to be invisible to your enemies for short distances.
Water Elemental- Mages can summon a Water Elemental to fight in battle.
Ice Block & Ice Barrier- These two spells can go a long way in making up for the Mages lack of armor allowing them to take some damage.
I’ll talk about the Death Knight class in this WoW Death Knight Guide. Death Knights combine both magic and melee into one hybrid class that was introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King.
Death Knight Overview:
Death Knights can do magic but are especially talented at melee, able to deliver destruction to their enemies. This quality along with anti magic abilities makes them absolutely fantastic tanks. We’ll go into some of the strengths and weaknesses in this WoW Death Knight Guide.
You’ll need to have leveled your character to at least 55 before you can unlock the Death Knight. However, any race and faction can unlock the Death Knight class. Here are some good races for each faction.
Forsaken’s will of the Forsaken- Their also really good at PvP and PvE
But as I mentioned you can choose any race.
Death Knight Guide the Upside and Downside
Upside:
Heavy Plate Armor- This makes them great for combat and melee.
Uncommon & Rare Gear- You get these right from the start.
Runic Power- Unique benefits compared to mana, rage, and energy.
Wield 2 Handed Weapons- Again this makes them great as Tanks.
Anti Magic- Makes them formidable adversaries to magic users.
Blood Magic for healing.
Downside:
As mentioned you’ll need a level 55 character before you can unlock this class.
The only downside when it comes to tanking is that they can’t tank with a shield.
Because of their abilities they can take some time to master
Runic Power:
Death Knights don’t use energy, mana or rage but instead use Runes and Runic Power. You start with 6 runes; once they get used up they’ll regenerate every 10 seconds
There are 3 Runes you can use. They’re the Blood, Unholy and Frost Runes.
Here’s how some of the Runes are used for some abilities.
Death Strike: Uses 1 Unholy & 1 Frost Rune; this is an instant cast and doesn’t require a cool down.
Icy Touch: Uses 1 Frost Rune
Blood Boil: Uses 1 Blood Rune
You can use these abilities in combination with one another. This is what makes them challenging to play. You may find yourself completely out of Runes if you don’t manage them properly. 10 seconds can be a life time in situations like in the middle of combat.
World of Warcraft or WoW as it is more commonly known, is a MMORPG which is an acronym for “Massively Multi player On-line Role-Playing Game”. In an MMORPG, thousands of players from around the World exist in the same on-line game world at the same time. They leave the real world behind and undertake heroic quests in a land of fantastic adventures.
The game has two warring factions: the Horde and Alliance. When you have decided which side to play there are nine classes of character to choose from: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior.Each class has its own unique set of talents and abilities. You can, depending on the class of character that you have, choose to build your character’s talent trees for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, healing or a combination of these.
There are 10 races to play: Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead, Blood Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves and Draenei and many professions your character can play: Engineering, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring, First Aid Fishing, Herbalism, Leather working, Jewel crafting, Inscription, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking and Enchanting. There are thousands of quests to complete with many different kinds of weapons and transportation. In addition, there are four realm types which will be the very first decision you will have to make before playing World of Warcraft.
